Move-in Checklist
First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
Both the first month's rent and the security deposit are due at the lease signing. Please confirm the amount with our team in advance.
Move-in Date & Inspection
We will schedule your move-in and provide all inspection details necessary at the lease signing.
Utilities
Utilities for your rental property must be placed in your name. Remember, you are responsible for keeping your accounts current throughout the duration of your stay.
Move-out Checklist
Notice of Intent to Vacate
Preparing to leave your rental property? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises. Remember, you are responsible for paying rent through end of the lease, regardless of whether you leave before this date.
Property Condition
Before you return the keys, please make sure your rental home is in rent-ready condition. This includes:
- Rental Cleaning: Properly clean every room in your home, taking the time to remove trash and personal belongings. Wipe down hard surfaces, mop/sweep/vacuum all floors, and sanitize the kitchen and bathroom spaces.
- Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you generally handle lawn care and other outdoor upkeep, please make sure everything has been addressed once more before moving.
- Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, take the steps to repair these issues. This may include patching and painting holes in walls (including nail/screw marks), replacing broken glass, and repainting discolored walls.
Security Deposit
After conducting a final inspection, we will return the security deposit to you. Deductions will be made if repairs are necessary in the property.
Remember, your security deposit cannot be used for your final month's rent.
